A cast of international dancers and former soldiers collaborate to explore the viciousness, vulnerability and trauma of violence. Soldier Still is a new dance theatre work that blends movement, text, music, real stories and real people, to create a harrowing tale of beauty and brutality. Developed from a series of interviews with current and former soldiers from the Irish Defence Force, The British Army and the Bosnian war, Soldier Still explores the after effect of war, the retirement of a soldier and the indelible traces left behind.

Performed by four exceptional dancers and former captain Dr Tom Clonan, the production is a poetic human perspective of the impact of violence, telling a universal tale of trauma. Winning Best Design at the Dublin Fringe Festival 2017, the stunning and simple set design is an active participant in the piece, accompanied by a visceral sound design.
